Do You Love People And Pets? We Need Your Help!

April 16, 2015

At Phinney’s Friends, we do everything in our power to make sure animals and their owners stay together during times of crisis. We believe that the human-animal bond is a source of love, joy, comfort and fulfillment for both people and their pets. We help low-income people with disabling illnesses and other hardships keep this bond with their pets by assisting with everyday pet care.

If you’re interested in helping us further our efforts, there are plenty of great ways that you can show your support!

If you’re 16 years old or older, consider volunteering with Phinney’s Friends. Volunteering can be on a regular basis, or for individual tasks. Either way, we know you’ll love working with us! You can work with people and pets, on creative projects, or perform administrative and planning work. Many volunteers choose more than one option, but there is no minimum time commitment required. Much of the work can even be done from home!

You can also help by making a monetary donation. This helps us cover our clients’ vet bills. If you’d prefer to donate goods, Phinney’s has a special Amazon wish list with some of our most needed items. We also have many physical drop-off locations throughout the Greater Boston area. There are also many other ways you can help. Just reach out to us! Any way that you can help Phinney’s Friends is greatly appreciated, by people and pets alike!
